SwimCSI.com was the original domain name for Caretaker Systems, Inc. also known as CSI High Performance Pool and Spa Equipment. CSI was founded in 1973 by Mr. Les Mathews. Mr. Mathews was a prestigious pool builder here in Arizona (La Casa Pools) and wanted to find a better way to improve the cleaning and circulation of the pools and spas he built. Les's passion and desire to improve the hydraulics of the pools he constructed, led him to develop the Caretaker In-Floor Cleaning System.
With the success of his In-Floor Cleaning Company, Les Mathews decided to retire after 30 years of business and sold CSI to Polaris Pool Systems, Inc. A few years later Polaris Pool Systems was acquired by the Zodiac Pool Group out of France, and the Caretaker brand name was changed forever. During the acquisition the Caretaker In-Floor Cleaning System's name had been changed to the Polaris-Caretaker System, but now falls under the Jandy brand name.
The co-founding owner of AZ Pool Supplies, Inc. worked for Caretaker Systems as a Regional Manager for 7 years, and thought it would be fitting to re-vive the website that once represented the finest pool and spa equipment to be manufactured.
